About Me
Trinity Johnson
Based in Metro Atlanta
Welcome! My name is Trinity, and I am ceramic artist, creative, and contemplative who creates both functional and decorative pottery. I love capturing beauty, rather if that is with clay, paint, or photography.
My Pottery Journey
I connected with clay at a young age when I hand-built a little house in art class in 4th grade. After seeing how much I enjoyed it, my mother enrolled me in pottery camp the following summer, where I fell completely in love with pottery. It would then take 11 years for me to reconnect with the craft. In the spring of 2021, I joined the waitlist for a pottery studio in Washington, DC, and after a true act of God, I was pulled off their 18-month-long waitlist in 2 months and began taking classes there. It was at this studio that my interest transformed into passion and where I built the fundamentals of my pottery skills. After four years at this studio and being gifted my own pottery wheel from a friend at my church, I moved back home to GA to invest more in this growing passion of mine. I split my time between my home studio and Suwanee Clayworks, where I work part-time as the marketing lead/studio tech.

Outside the Studio
If I'm not working on something in the studio, I am probably training for my upcoming marathon, at a coffee shop reading, or hanging out with my friends, my mom, or my cats.
